Ayurveda and Yoga Retreat

This retreat is a journey with the science of Ayurveda and Yoga. Ayurveda and yoga are sister’s disciplines and they complement well one another.
Ayurveda literally means the “knowledge of life”, supporting us in living a healthy and happy life. In Ayurveda, body, mind and consciousness work together in maintaining balance. They are simply viewed as different facets of one’s being. According to Ayurvedic philosophy the entire cosmos is interplay of the energies of the five great elements—Space, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. The 3 Doshas (constitutions) Vata, Pitta and Kapha are combinations of these five elements that manifest as patterns present in all creation.
Ayurveda offers individual recommendations regarding diet, daily routines, self-healing, yogic practices, detox methods, philosophy and to reconnect to your inner life force energy.
This ancient healing system helps us to connect with the elements of nature within us and out side of us, as we are microcosmic example of nature. Ayurveda helps us to heal ourselves, to take the time to listen to what we really need and want in our life and to live it in the highest potential of ourselves.
In this retreat we will explore various practices of Yoga (postures, breathing and meditation), Ayurvedic daily routine, Ayurvedic cooking, learn about the 3 Doshas (constitutions) and how they are connected to the elements, eat amazing nourishing Ayurvedic food, give ourselves massage, receive massage, Sauna, and much more.
